C&V find on the way to work!

I was riding along on my normal route, just before hitting the main Blvd..... I had my head slightly down since I was the only tthing on the street at the time. I began to near an intersection so it was time to pay attention, lol. Something out of the corner of my eye suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks. I passed by and said, no way. I did not just see what I thought I saw!! I turned around and rode slowly by it again. WTH, in my neighborhood of all places, a front clip for a 64-67 Corvette, sitting in some numbskull's heavy trash pile!?! Looks like it's never been used, just sat in the garage for a couple of decades. I immediately yanked my cell phone out of my backpack, and called my wife to bring the truck to pick it up. She's amazing that way. She didn't question me at all, just rushed over to get it..

Of course now I will see no money for bikes out of it, sigh..... The dentist bill will have a nice chunk out of it at least...

Sweet find!

Ya know, there is some guy in Galveston standing in his driveway wondering where his front clip went. He's pretty sure it was there before the storm

I know a guy who makes his living restoring classic Vette's. Shoot me a PM and I can hook you guys up if you want. It would require some shipping though.

Not so sure

I don't know. That looks more like the wind faring from the rare and extremely collectible 1969 Masi/Campagnolo human powered flying experiment. I think this thing has serious C&V content.

Umm, that is not a Schwinn Corvette. Just saying. Keep going back by the house. Maybe they are taking it apart and throwing it away bit by bit.
