Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.
I think this was indeed well known amongst the residents of Toronto...sad.

"As the police gathered the mounds of bikes, they also found cocaine, crack cocaine, about 15 pounds of marijuana and a stolen bronze sculpture of a centaur and a snake in battle."

I went to the viewing with a neighbour of mine a few weeks ago and he acutally did find his old cruiser bike which was stolen in the spring. It was still pretty depressing though as there were many bikes that looked well-loved and would have been very missed.
There is probably no way that all of the bikes were stolen, many woud have been trade-ins or just legitimately sold to Igor. There were some pretty high-end bikes and I am sure that they will be auctioned off eventually.
Igor was very well-known in the city as a fence for crackheads to get rid of their bikes and just this morning, the police have reported that the number of bike thefts reported has dropped quite a bit since the bust. However, I walked by a pawn shop today that I know in the past has had very few bikes and, when I looked in the window, they had about 20 bikes, so the slack has been picked up by the pawn shops.
Very sad situation, especially since the cops only picked up Igor by a fluke....
