Which Hub to Save, Which to put in the Parts Bin?

I need input from C&Vers cause I'm just not sure which is the better hub between these two. I've got two narrow 27" rims, both front wheels. I'm going to use one as a front wheel, the other rim will be re-built as a rear wheel. I know neither hub is high end, but I'd like to know if one is generally considered better than the other. None of the spokes are stainless, so that's not a deciding factor. In the pic with the two rims, the one on the right is a Suntour LePree hub laced to an Araya rim. The other is a Normandy hub laced to a Rigida rim. These rims are more narrow than almost all of the 27 inch rims I have. They are 1.4 cm between the walls vs. 1.7 to 1.9 cm found on my other 27 inch rims. So I'd like to rebuild one and have a set for one of my bikes, possibly the Woodrup.
Any input is appreciated, including wise-cracks.

High Flange all the way. But of course I'm prejudice.

I agree with Pastor Bob about the looks of high flange, but I have found Normandy hubs to be very fragile. Also, cones are difficult to find. So, for practicality's sake I'd likely use the SunTour hub.

I would decide based on what the rear hub is... Is the rear hub going to be a high flange or low flange?

Low flange, Shimano.

Edit: I've decided these wheels will go on a 83 Trek 400 that I'd like to use as my gofer bike.

got with the suntour all the way if you want the better hub. Those cheap Maillard/Normandy hubs have very crappy cups, cones, axels and nuts. all soft steel. I bet the lock nuts are loose right now...

Bikes: Mostly English - predominantly Raleighs

Sun Tour - unless there's something wrong with the cups, cones or axles.
