I have to agree. This bike would be much more appealing at a price range well under a G. The off brand drive train, Fuji branded parts, its all bargain basement stuff, but at $600 i would be looking for my nearest Fuji dealer. The other problem is that we may all be unemployed by the time this hits the show room floor.

But wouldn't it be a boring old world if we all liked exactly the same stuf.

that is, quite possibly, the most awesome justification for differing opinions i've ever seen. because it's quite true.

i'm digging all the retro bikes though, they could have done a lot worse.

The Cambridge has an interesting feature... 32 hole hubs and 36 hole rims. ;)

I think the price points are a bit high for those of us in this forum who like the old steel, but when compared to other modern steel alternatives, they are priced competetively.

If the bikes don't sell, they'll be giving em away at bike shops in the 5-750 range, a few years from now. Also, it needs to be said: weak dollar.

Firstly, they are all overpriced, when compared to other new bikes out there.
Out of the four, the Cambridge models get my vote, mainly for their somewhat practical, utilitarian approach (internally-geared hubs, sidepull calipers, fenders, racks, comfortable-looking riding positions) without too many overly-complex, expensive and harder to maintain BS features like STI and disc brakes that the average leisure cyclist or commuter who rides somewhere between 1-10km doesn't need.
The Conoisseur, while looking nice, appears to be an overpriced version of something that all of us here at BF regularly pick for a tenth of the price. The parts appear to be mediocre at best for the price, there are no eyelets to be seen and what is with the downtube shifters being mounted right near the headtube? Are they trying to encourage finger dismemberment?
The track bike, well, like the Conoisseur is overpriced for the component spec and with the very hipster look to it, will be probably be about as popular as a Leyland P76 in about two years' time. NYC Bike Snob PistaDex anyone?
