Super nice 3 speed !!

I saw this super nice 3 spd, & I just bought it,,, to have it. It is a ladies Western Flyer, from Western Auto. All chrome is nice, original tires, seat with no tears, Wald front basket & double rear basket. I am unsure who made this Western Auto bike, so if anyone can help, let me know. It has a 3 spd rear hub, but is not marked Sturmey-Archer, even though it looks like one.

Great looking bike! Got to love the variety of 3 speeds out there, every time I see another different version I wish I could get it.

Collect the whole set!

Not the highest end bike, but very utilitarian and functional.

The crankset is unmistakably Murray. Probably early '70s.

Bikes: like 15. my favorite a 1951 schwinn spitfire cruiser. also have a 1959 amf roadmaster, 1962 jch deluxe cruiser among others.

i too have a western flyer 3speed. 1967 so says the hub and the badge says western flyer by western auto. i heard these were like the type of bikes they'd sell in hardware or department stores back in the day. try looking up western flyer into one of the vintage bicycle sites and look up western flyer and it should tell you.
