I'll trade you my 2004 Bianchi Pista I like yours, it's a really sweet bike. One thing I did a little different was to use a time trail style bar-end brake lever and mount it reversed so it's not as noticeable but mine has bar tape to hide the cable.

I'll take some pics of the hubs tomorrow and post them up. Anything else?
Also, I'd like to see the brake lever setup you described, kommisar89...

I like it, except the brake lever doesn't look right. I just don't like the aesthetics.

Well i rode it brakeless for a commutes to work, that was too slow and stressfull. With the brake the ride is faster and easier, but the brake lever doesn't have a hinge so I guess it's going to stay there a while.

Classy build that is properly streetworthy, no less. A big thumbs up from over here.

Thanks! I like that it's a little dinged up so I'm not afraid to take it to the streets.

Voila! Actually it's most obvious from this angle but it's the only picture I have online. You get the idea though.

Wild hubs! Do they have 72 spoke holes, or am I seeing things?

They have been "drilliumed" at some point. They are the second pair of hubs I have owned like that. They, and the other campy parts on the bianchi, came off a '73 paramount track bike I bought that was too big for me, and somewhat rusted. I like to believe the story that they are "repurposed" tandom hubs, drilled out back in the day at the Scwhinn factory. The offset (non-spoke) holes are slightly larger than the current spoke holes, intended for thicker tandom wheel spokes, supposedly. That would mean my hubs were for a fixed tandom paramount originally! My other set are standard high flange record road hubs, '72, and only the rear was drilliumed.
