Noob Bottom Bracket Question
This is a total noob question. Which side of the bike does the fixed cup go on? The drive side or the non-drive side?
Sheldon Brown keeps referring to the left and right side but I don't know which way he is looking at the bike... head on from the front or from the back
help please

The fixed cup goes on the drive side which would be considered the right side. The the fixed cups are also left hand thread so it really can't get mixed up. Same as a car you always refer to the sides as if you were driving it.

The fixed cup is USUALLY LH threaded, but not always-
