Pedal Fix
My AMF had the pedal snap off...since i dont have a supply of parts...I needed to improvise.
When the pedal broke it was close to the end...so...i grinded it down so it was just the end with the threads and no shank.
I then drilled a 3/16" hole in the center all the way thru...and followed with a 5/16" drill bit....you need to get the hole to go straight....use a vise
Tap the hole with a 3/8" -16 NC Tap and go the whole way thru...use oil to keep from binding the tap.
Now for the easy part use a 3/8", 5 1/5" long, 16nc bolt.
the shank without threads should be just over 4" long.
Bolt thru till it bottoms out...use washers inbetween.
grind or cut off the end so it is flush with the threads of the pedal end.

What size spindle? If those are the old 1/2" size, I have a take-off set you can have for the price of postage.
