Anyone here live in the UK...?
There is a bike I'm very very very seriously considering, and if I get it, the seller will only ship within the UK. I'll pay someone to forward it across the pond for me PLEASE!!! Anyone wanna help me out?

ANYONE?!?! |
Brian, is it?,
Try sending a PM to UK Bloke, UK Red, and UK Yank. Then try entering "uk" in the beginning of a PM and see what comes up. You get 10 folks per message, and if you go thru all those with "uk" in the front, or maybe "brit," you may get a hit. My other suggestion, if you're that serious, is to get a UPS or a USPS account, and ask the guy just to let one of them pick it up. You can arrange for them to ship it from there. You really need to want the bike, though. I shipped a Merlin to Australia. $323, and I just got under the size restrictions using USPS. Because we knew we'd get killed on the shipping, my bud has his friends buy a lot of stuff on eBay, from WhyMor, etc, and we packed the box to the hilt. We had 70lbs to use up, and it weighed 54. |
Good idea Robbie, the seller agreed to pack it for an international voyage if i did the leg work on a call tag. good thing i got that ups account when iwanted free white labels and poster tubes :)

Viscount is a really nice guy, you might try him. He's usually around here pretty often...
