Found a few road bikes
I found a Supercycle, raleigh and a peugeot The Raleigh is a females bike I think it's called Record, a supercycle Medalist, I left it at the curb, no one took it so I brought it up, the steel collecters wont have it, and the peugeot I'm not sure what that is, pics soon.

One needs tires, one needs seat, and one needs adjustments, other then that all are fine all could use a nice clean.

One comment. The Raleigh is not a female's bike. It's a mixte design that is ridden by both women and men. It looks like a mid-70's bike. The Record is their entry level bike.
The Peugeot looks like an entry level bike, but it looks nice enough to clean up, fix up and either ride or sell. I don't know anything about the third bike.

At the very least, the Peugeot and the Raleigh are worth $50 or so on Craigslist, as fixed gear or single speed conversion candidates. Neither appear to be worth restoring, but if one fit me, I might fix it up and keep it around.

Based on the decals, that Peugeot is probably early '80s. miamijim will probably be along with a deadly accurate ID any minute...

90% of old biking images show women in skirts on their bikes, even ones from the late 60s and early 70s show women wearing split skirts and coulottes.
Though not all step through frames are skirt friendly, to combat the prejudice some people have about riding a 'girl' bike, I tell them that, if you can wear a skirt while riding it, then it's a 'girl' bike, otherwise it's just a step through frame. They usually believe me. I am hoping one day to buy a skirt I can ride the bike with....i haven't owned one in 30 years, so it will be a new experience...perhaps i will look into kilts, they seem to be better designed for it.

It is but its not adding up. Everything by then had at least one quick release and North American Peugeots didnt use that style of Mafac centerpull.....considering it has Weinmann levers and cable carriers I'd say the calipers were changed.

it is definitely right around 83
Edit:
US(canadian) made UO-9 was labeled super sport
French made UO-9 was labeled grand sport
Its the head badge that throws me off

Lol thanks for the info, I was gonna make the Peugeot a fixie but I have so many bikes so i'll just sell it, very nice ride though, feels good, the Mixte was stripped and Given away free, since it really needed a paint job, I gave it away free, well still am, no ones came for it yet, I kept some parts because I like putting alloy parts on Antique bikes. as for the Supercycle I put wheels on it and will sell it for 10$ lol

The mixte frame is stronger and better suited to heavier folks.
