Bikes: Roadmaster Jet-Pilot girls

Pricing or date?

Currently I have come across a RoadMaster Jet-Pilot girls bike from what apears to be around the late 1950's .... if anyone has any ideas on how I could find an exsact date or what information you need about the bike to determin the age I am more then willing to give that information to you. Also I am not a collector and have no real interest in starting so if any one knows a rough or fair estimate on what the possible price is that would be wounderful. I am planning on restoring the bike or at least improfing its current condition so if any one is confident in that area please contact me and I will get into greater detail with those restoration questions for you. Thank you very much for your time!

Bikes: Roadmaster Jet-Pilot girls

Heres some more detaild info on the actual bike...........
it has stainless steel mud deflectors on the front and back tires. The front one only covering about 120 degrees of the actuall tire, and the back one covering 180 degrees. on the back mud flap there is a built in round reflector mesuring about 2" in diameter... that locks into the central crease that is carried throughout the entire center of the mud deflectors. The actual central spokes on the bike is stainless steel as well as the rims and spokes (which are original) (everything on this bike is original to my knolege) The actual color is a red- purple that looks mildly speckled. There is a back rack that narrows as it get closer to the end ... which has stainless steel braces holding it up and in place off of the back wheels spoke and the seats base. The front pole dips down on a drastic angle and is two seperate round poles that maintain a consistan distance apart the entire way down (3/4"). The chain guard has the actual wrighting on it of "Jet-Pilot" and that as well is stainless steel With Blue center print and a white boarder. Then on the center steering Piece there is a alongated arrow that comes to a point heading downwards with a star on the end. On the back bike resting pannle there is three isocolise triangles the go in as order from smallest to largest and that nearly streach the entire back piece both width wise and length wise(those decales also being in white paint, but feel to be ressested and a different texture then the restof the pannle). The front also has a built in light, basket, and "clip board" (consisting of a metal base with another metal piece that comes down onto it by spring action. The bikes front light is built below the top bar.. that is "half a tear drop" in shape and the actual lights consist of two small front bulbs ...The place where the lights actually plug into is a greenish grey plastic head infront of the lower metal body base .... with a removible top that allows for you to replace the d size batteries into (we have the original batteries as well). If anyone has any other questions to ask about the bike to determin its date or value please do so. Or if your interested in purchasing the bike pleasew contact me.... As of know we are still working on the restoraton of the bike.. and setting up an account on e-bay for it. When thats set up I'll set a link from this site to that page. But for now if you have any interest in purchasing or helping me deterimn a date or pricing please contact me here or e-mail me at: james@conleyville.com.
