Too much for a Paramount
I'm thinking this is just too much for a Japanese Paramount. https://cgi.ebay.com/1992-Schwinn-Par...d=p3286.c0.m14

Looks to be fairly unused from the chainrings and rims and crankarms. no idea what you want to pay...
of course it isn't rusty- Ridgecrest is right next to Death Valley.
Make an offer, maybe you'll win.
Side note- Ridgecrest is an aging population with lots of military, I bet there's a lot of bikes that have been in the garage for decades there...

It only takes one sucker, but I think he's dreaming. My 1989 Waterford built Paramount, with a full Waterford restoration, failed to get a bid that high as a complete bike twice on Ebay.

From reading the description, he's just offering the frame and fork for $699.
That's nuts.
That's nuts.

People are clueless what a "Paramount" is back then much less now. I saw you ended up posting that bike on your local craigslist a while back. Had the itch but was not my size. Hope it was sold fairly.
