What's the difference

What's the difference beteen Record and non-Record when it comes to Campagnolo parts? Some of the Campy parts I've seen look the same even when they are Record or not.

ah. often just price, and graphics. Look at the new "super record" brake calipers...they are charging nearly twice retail what the same brakes are going for with the "record" stamp on 'em. don't tell me titanium, either, look at the posted weights of the two caliper sets.

Campy did this quite a bit in the past, too. Look to the first generation super record rear derailleur (two titanium pivot bolts, a little black anodization) and this still goes for $300+...over the standard, and exactly the same, nuovo record rear derailleur, that you can buy for $30 all day long.

But we luv's 'em. I have two.
