I have a orphaned Exage Action areo brake lever. If you have his twin brother, I sure could use it. Don't have much to trade, I could scrape together a little beer money.

Have a few things I'm pulling from an '87 Fuji Absolute - not sure if they're all OE or not, but the component dates seem to be.
All are in good to VG shape. This bike doesn't appear to have been ridden much, but I didn't get it complete.
26.0 steel seatpost with clamp.
Sugino crankset w/matching English BB. Alloy arms swaged to steel rings.
Wheelset with 27x1 1/4" alum rims. Front hub is alloy SR q/r, rear is steel KK nutted. Need bearings serviced or adjusted.
Suntour 6s freewheel 14-28 4 prong. Looks virtually unused.
One Dia-Compe N500 brake (nutted rear/would prob. fit recessed front) caliper.
One Dia-Compe non-aero lever, w/extension, right/rear.
Tien Hsin steel headset - marks on top nut. Haven't measured for ISO/JIS yet, assume JIS.
Steel pedals.
85mm alloy stem (no name), currently attached to 39cm c-c Hsin Lung HL steel drop bars.
May have the Avocet Touring saddle as well. Haven't decided.

Need: a few things to complete this build
8 or 9s Shimano/SRAM cassette ~12 to 27
using SunTour bar-cons - or would swap them for indexed bar-ends to match the cassette.
Light alloy 26.0 seatpost (in black preferred)

Looking for a CHROME Northroad style moustache handlebar. Everything I can find seems to be alloy, but I need a steel one. Diameter is unimportant, but low price is thanks!

I know there are a bunch of seat posts @ the CO OP you gave your unsold bikes to. I'm going down probably Tuesday so I'll scope it out for 26.6 posts. I know there weren't any decent brakes a month ago, but that changes.

i've got an SR laprade 26.6 seatpost, microadjust. however, it has pretty bad insertion marks. i also have a pair of shimano 600 F/R calipers w/recessed bolts. the calipers are good, but the original pads are shot.

Umm, yeah! In retrospect, it would have been wise to use a higher contrast backdrop than that.

I haven't measured it but is that seatpost size used on 80s Schwinn Super Sports? I have one of those floating around as it fits on nothing I bring in.

I'm currently working on a 1981 Schwinn Super Sport (Tange Champion) and can confirm that it takes a 26.6mm post. That bike's a candidate for 650B conversion if I've ever seen one.

Mr Rat Fink; what size is the steerer? I assume it is fr 26" wheels (MTB) yes? is the bridge drilled? would this work on a road bike with side pull caliper?

Everyone; OK I am officially searching for a better quality 700c suspension either for canitlever or regular road brakes. 1" long steerer

clearer?

Cool. I guess I have that size too then.
I'd love to get a Super Sport Columbus frame to ride for a while as I really liked the one I had briefly but it was way too large.

Nomad, there's a pink '87 SS frame- NOS- on eBay right now. Seller told me he has a 21 in stock as well. Not cheap at around $300 shipped, but if that's what you want...
