He may be looking for a trade, but you're right, BG, they are widely available.

Careful looking on eBay can get you the DA's for $15 shipped in most cases, the less complicated ones for less than that.

Since almost every STI shifter kit comes with them, many LBS's have them in their parts drawers.
I've picked up some over the years for $5 just by asking. If they're in a green plastic bag, they generally came with some shifters and weren't needed.

I'm a little late to this party because I thought you'd be overwhelmed with offers.
I have several sets of these. I'll leave it at that. If you don't find some elsewhere, get in touch.

I am looking for a few parts for a Schwinn Sports Tourer

- A Schwinn headset... the chrome kind you would find on a varsity and such. I have one, but it's pretty rusted and I am looking for one in better shape.

Probably some other Schwinn type parts but i'm not sure what yet. A nicer chromed seat clamp would be nice.

ISO 58-60 cm road frame, or full bike. Can be steel or aluminum, with for ideally
Prefer 80s or 90s
For a friend getting into road riding for the first time, primarily for triathlons.
Nothing special needed but a good bike on a budget.

I'll either build up a frame or rehab a full bike. Scoping CL now, but willing to see what folks have.

Do you need an entire shifter or would a body suffice?

Looking for (and I'm not even sure it exists):

Interesting Italian water bottle cages...not carbon, but not the 50 year old Bianchi mouse traps either. Would settle for c-record cages, nitto r style cages...something interesting.

A nitto stem to fit the B115 bars.

Hmm, has to be Italian? I bought one of these Arundel stainless cages at my LBS a while back and thought it was pretty cool.

I brought some sets of these back from our last vacation.

Should I see if they have anymore?

I'd definitely jump on them. I do have a set of those (currently crowning the Miyata Team) and have been debating putting them on the Marnati...but the bottles are not in great shape (certainly not like your's).

Sadly, I had a half dozen sets.

I'll check for you in the morning.

ISO: Weinmann 750 or similar centerpull brake caliper.
Have: Weinmann 610 centerpull caliper.
Mine are labeled Raleigh so anything similar with a longer reach than the 610 would be great.
