Gah! I checked them, they are actually 8 speed. My bad. Also a stupidly awesome frame came my way which has meant this project is now been sidelined for another, non-stem shifting build.

Thanks for your help!

Hooking you up on 7-sp DT with FD and RD, and a black wire bottle cage.
After your winter, the least I can do.

Thanks for the reply
2 sections:
24" and 45"
That's allowing a bit extra just in case the handlebars / brakes get re-positioned. I have enough inner cable and of different diameters to work with.

Well, I could help you with the 24in section, but not the 45. You're probably going to need to find someone that has a roll. My bits have been harvested. Good luck!

ISO:
SINGLE bar end shifter. Just one. Will be run in a friction setup. Suntours are cool, others welcome. For a townie build with one bar end, and one downtube shifter.
EDIT: Also a single downtube boss cable stop. To attempt to modify to fit a early Cyclone endless-band downtube shifter.

Have:
Cinelli 1A Stem (100mm) + Giro d'Italia Bar: EDIT--More details: Stem is the early version (per Velobase), and bars are 38 c-to-c and have the earlier crest logo.
Early DuraAce non-aero levers.
VO Threadless Stem, 100mm, +/- 17, 25.4mm. (This one: VO Threadless Stem 25.4, +/-17 deg rise - Threadless Stems - Stems - Components)
Deore (early 1990s?) Triple Front Derailleur.
Deore RD, black, 9speed era.
Other stuff.

Welcome to the forum. This is sort of a no-cash-discussion thread, even though it says "ISO."

The best thing to do is list what you have, then list what you are ISO (In Search Of), and don't mention sales.
Interested parties can send you a Private Message.
Since you're a new member, they can send you their email or something to further communicate.

Another option is to go to the Sales thread here, and list what you need under Want to Buy (WTB).
Tell interested parties to send you a PM with their email so you can further communicate.

We try to self-moderate here because, well, it keeps the moderators from having to.

When you get to 50 posts, you can PM back and forth, and here's hoping you get there soon and this forum helps.

Just got this Lotus Classique. Its the first lotus to use 700c wheels. Wanting to trade for a mens balloon tire bicycle if anyone has one to trade. If not let me know what you have. Wheels are not orig to bike, front wheel fits perfectly but the rear needs to be dished. Both need trueing.
