EDIT: Camera mount NLA - sold to forum member. Thank you
ISO:
a) Decent Brooks B17 or Ideale sport / tour profile saddle. Not picky - scars, rail corrosion OK but no excessive dry out. Black or brown tone and any age.
or
b) 1970's era Campagnolo Nuovo Rec both front and rear derailleur. Front 28.6 d. clamp mount
or
c) Some sort of vintage randonneur (frt.) bag. Character tattered to an extent acceptable. Must have clear cue sheet window.
Trade: Vintage Juplen camera (1/4 - 20) top tube Gem universal mount. Circa 1972. One can probably swap clamps for handlebar but the top tube makes for a good perspective including angle shots of the fork and wheel. First group of pics don't show the clamp tape protection but I just installed it for the images shown while on bike.
thank you

Hoods for Shimano Tiagra ST-4400 brifters. They are 'out of stock' on every website Google can find that had them. Not only that, I cannot find any chart or reference material that says if the commonly available ST-4500 and ST-4600 hoods would work or not... anyone have any thoughts of experience?
Looking for the drop-out adjustment screws for horizontal drop-outs... found some on Velo-Orange... anyone know of anyplace else?
Thank you!

Hoping to get a nice clean derailleur as i am fixing this up to be my true baby racing cycle as it was back in the days that i did race. The italian BB, would the be for pre CPSC record you are after? I'll take a look tonight. This post is to help me remember. I may also have a fixed cup, I think it is a very old one 1960s? I might have others too though.

ISO: a few items to complete my 1950s Belgian bike
- 155 mm rear axle (old axle is bent)
- Weinmann front caliper brake central bolt (old bolt is bent)
- Classic European chain guard (probably chrome), possibly wing style
- Cream tires (700c x 40 to 50), decent shape
- Classic grips (not even sure what would look good on this bike)
- Period correct pedals (update; found some)
Please let me know what you have that would compliment this bike.
Most parts on eBay I’m finding from this era are Schwinn specific; I’m obviously not interested in these parts for this project.

^^ I would imagine a photographer / cyclist used it. Camera is mounted to the assembly by a finger screw underneath. Fits the standard 1/4 inch x 20 tpi thread. When the lever knob is slightly loosened by 'counterclockwise' rotation, it permits the mount to rotate, angle or tilt. After positioning to the desired direction, rotating the lever knob 'clockwise' re-tightens. I'm only guessing at the age of it because of the clamp patent pending date. The unit is of very high quality including high luster plating and seems quite solid compared to anything I've seen today in bike camera mounts. Came in a carton of other neato bike stuff.

I think it's very cool. My Contour would mount right on it, as well as my digital cameras with video capabilities, as well as my 8mm SVHS, and my 35mm cameras. As someone who times and scores 5Ks, 10Ks, etc, I've tried a few different mounts to try and video different parts of the races. I can see where it could come in handy. I last tried a post-mounted rack, with the camera pointing backwards. The editing required to condense it to decent video, however, is time-consuming, and an iPad at the finish seems to get what the people really want to see.
It would be nice to ride to different locations, and then use the bike to steady the camera and get good video at different places, then ride to another spot, etc.
PS: Scott, I just read Road to Valor, and I never knew, until reading it, that Bottechia was murdered. Pretty interesting.

I have some MAFAC centerpulls from a wrecked, low-end 70's Peugeot that I bought (coincidentally) for the Simplex derailleur. I thought the pedals would be French-thread, they were not I got a good stool out of the rear triangle though...
