Mostly Mischief
Trying again to liquidate all my ties to vintage Italian bikes:
Have: Campagnolo Nuovo Record chrome steel headset, Italian thread. While the races show the age, it is virtually guaranteed that no wrench ever slipped on these. In other words, excellent exterior for the numerous seventies Cinelli, Colnago, DeRosa, you-name-it Italian resto projects surely going on behind the scenes.
Looking for: Same in English thread.
Also wanting to swap another Italian classic, a VGC Cinelli Volare saddle for a Brooks Pro. The Volare has one small hole in the leather, the size of a sunflower seed, near the right rear corner. This particular deal could be sweetened with further items from my signature.
..and now we're at it: Looking for Campagnolo cup and ball complete bottom bracket, English thread of, say, 112mm give or take. Preference given to Record level quality.

Also,
I really want a 1987 Miyata 912 in size 60cm. Really looking for just the frameset, but would consider buying a complete bike. I suppose its a long shot, but I thought I would try.

Wanted 90mm reach quill stem 22.2, I'd really like a Sakae/SR Superlight, but will also consider a late '70s early '80s 3t record
Also would like some unused gold cable housing

posted up in road https://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.p...postcount=2028 , but cut to the C&V stuff for here
have:
tri-color 600 9pcs (aka ultegra 600, 6400 7sp) no parting out.
brake levers, SIS DT shifters, dual pivot brakes F+R, hubs 32h F+R, 7sp cassette, 115mm italian threaded bottom bracket, cranks (worn out chainrings if you want them), Front derailer & Rear derailer.
rims are Wolber TX profiles, they have dents in them and they are still good to use, but shipping a wheel box is quite a bit, so you'll save more shipping money if the hubs are delaced.
want:
12-27 10sp cassette
165mm outboard BB crankset, compact 110BCD or triple, Tiagra/R600/105/R700/Ultegra, with chainrings.
shimano long cage RD
triple FD, 28.6mm clamp or braze on.

WTB: Dia Compe Aero GC Brake Caliper Cable Anchor and Suntour Suberbe FD
WTB: Dia Compe Aero Grand Compe brake caliper cable anchor. Received a bike last week via an ebay seller who loosened the cable anchor on the front caliper to remove the bar/stem. It likely shook loose during shipping. Anybody have an orphan donor caliper or beater they can sell me? Also looking for a Suntour Superbe Front Derailleur, clamp on in good shape. Let me know what you have. Thanks. E-mail me direct at averyallen@aol.com. David

WTB: Quill Stem -140mm
I am looking for a quill stem that is 140mm in length. Make is not that important, but condition is. I prefer something with a polished finish.
Thanks,
Joe

Two steps forward, one step back.
I trued up the rims I was going to mount on the Hetchin's, put some barely used 27 x 1-1/4 Panaracer Paselas on, and am finding that there's not enough clearance in the mud guards for the tires. It would seem the simplest solution is to get smaller sized tires.
This will be the only bicycle I have with 27" rims, and I have both a completely new set of the Paselas (still with the "packaging" on them), and the set that has at most 50 miles on them. Both sets of tires have been stored in the basement shop, hanging up in a room with no sunlight.
Want - to trade for a comparable set or two of 27" x 1-1/8" or 27" x 1" tires in new or almost new condition. Found

I PM'd but now realize what I have is a *partial* Huret RD of the Challenger long-cage family, but the hanger bolt and related parts are still intact. I *think* the hanger stuff is same as used on Duopars, but not positive. You can have all or some of it for shipping/packing costs...

That's a very rare-looking Cilo, not often you see one with the *red label* SL Reynolds 531 tubing (plus those crazy stay caps!). If shipping from Poland won't kill the deal, that's worth buying, methinks.

you may want to check with bibliobob or Night Tiger. There are Cilos in Chicago, and if you're willing to spend $250 on a frame that then needs work, they might know of one. Last one I saw there had the chrome fork and Columbus tubing, was a blue one, 56 or 58....

I agree! I'm going to think long and hard about this one....Shipping will definately be the killer. It's rare to even find a Cilo...Too bad the wife's is too small for me, it's a superb ride...light and fast (SLX tubing)....keeping my eye open for others too (in hopefully better cosmetic condition, I don't want to do a full resto)...
