That is good bike karma in real-time. M.S. deserves the good karma, though!

It seems like too long a steer tube is better than too short 'o one. I was thinking about that earlier.

I would also love:
-classic bend (non-ergo, at least)
-dual grooves
-short drop
-black finish

I don't know if this is possible, so treat it like a wish list.

I have all sorts of stuff to trade. Arc-en-ciel rims (700/36/tub), record hubs laced to ambrosios, bar end shifters and other stuff. If you have the bars, I'll find something you can use.
This is as close as you'll get:

If that doesn't work out, Dan, I have two Pyramid after-market NOS chrome forks for 27" wheels. PM me if you need to.

Here it is. I've had good luck in the past with this, and since today, time is of the essence:

(I can't use ebay)

If someone can snag this off the 'Bay, do it and I'll pay you back and then add a little somethin' in for the buyer, probably some neato parts. I'll go up to $17 for it:

https://cgi.ebay.com/Gios-Embroidery-...3A1%7C294%3A50

PM me if interested!

Thanks buddies,

Banjo

I agree, you won't find anything with all those features (double-grooves and 26.4 clamp) in a black finish, unless you anodize it yourself.
I have a "Top 64" that has shallow drop, no grooves, but 2 oval HOLES in the underside of the clamp section for internal cable routing, and it's 26.4...but finish is blue-gray, not black. It's also very wide: 44cm

I think the eBay seller VINTAGE-BIKE from Nancy, France has a set of these up for sale/auction but I believe they were French threaded.

eBay can stick it up honorable rear end, though I still find it an efficient method of selling.

Looking for a nice classic silver 1" stem from the 70s, I like the cinelli 1a and the 3t record but will consider pretty much anything, such as a typical SR, 22.2 steerer, and 100mm reach

I don't really have a list together but if you're looking for something let me know, otherwise have cash.
