More info on a Nishiki 5 speed?
Hey folks,
https://sacramento.craigslist.org/bik/936924010.html
What do you guys think of this bike? Any insights on its history? Is it worth the $?
I'm kinda digging the old 3 speed/porteur look to it.
Many thanks ahead of time.
** oops. sorry, mods. forgot there was a vintage value area now. feel free to move.

Probably not worth that much, honestly. Nishiki made decent bikes, and even the lower end stuff was quality. $265 is pushing the envelope quite a bit. Unless it was completely redone with new tires, cables, grease etc, I wouldn't pay much over $100 for it, and I'm being a little kind. Being that it's Sacramento though, they might get it.,,,,BD

Looks like a $100 bike or less around here. I have a similar one in the queue to rebuild. I figured it to be a $75 to $100 bike finished, in nice ready to ride condition. Thats one reason I am in no hurry to rebuild it. May just use it as a donor.
