Fine pics, DD. I hope Stuart found the nut for those brakes.

Rode a nice little country road today. Tomorrow some new brake levers should arrive.

Seeing your on the road, I will be looking into a repair to get the by now oldie on the road again.
By the way did you take a bus/train back to the starting point?
If you can remove the sleeve and get some good epoxy in there, i don't see why it wouldn't live to ride again! Good luck with the repair. I would also like to hang a few frames around the house, but I don't know if my wife would like it so much.

Yeah, i took a direct train back to starting point. Ticket with bike pass cost me about 30 CHF. I plan on taking that route again and completing the loop. It should end up being about 190km, and will be my first centennial (in miles).

That's a very nice looking bike, what is it?

It looks to be at least 60cm, you must be a giant in Japan.

Thanks. That's a 1979 Touring Paramount repaint. The frame is 25 inch (63.5 cm), so yes, I'm a giant here.

Great photos guys! I am optimistic that soon the spring will finally arrive around here and the scenery will be alive with more color. I took a 78 mile spin through 4 Boroughs yesterday (sorry Staten Island for always being excluded) and took a few shots along the way. It was windy and cold but it was still very enjoyable.

Nice pics Greg, love the Stealth look.

had to grab a ride in after work today because north east Ohio is supposed to get 6to8 inches of the white stuff tomorrow. This is a rock formation at a metro park about 3 miles from my place.

Very nice indeed. What are the specs on that bike? Would that be a SunXCD rear derailleur? What's the stem, lugged Nitto CrMo? Thanks!

Good eye! That is indeed a SunXCD RD and Nitto lugged stem. I built it up with all newish stuff I had lying around. Dura Ace FD, unbranded Sugino triple cranks, and DiaCompe brakes and shifters. I occasionally get tempted to rebuild it with vintage parts, but I'm pretty happy with how it is now so I haven't bothered.

It's a sweet build, I wouldn't change a thing.

Here are a few more from the other day from Randall's Island along with Coney Island and Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn. It has been a good week with 145 miles under my belt. Hopefully spring finally arrives in the near future. @Kdogbikes Nice picture! Is that a body of water in the background? Vonruden Very nice photos. I really hope to ride down there this year. Please tell me it is not going to snow later... I rode into work!

Got 31 miles in the country this morning, lots of snow and sand caking up my derailleurs. No droolworthy C&V photos to share, but I'm glad to have gotten out on the bike.

Perfect riding conditions in aptly named Paradise Valley, Arizona today. Gotta love the freshly paved road surface. Rode 35 miles on my dialed-in Tommasini Competitzione. It doesn't get much better than this!

The '72 Mercian and the '85 Raleigh waiting to start 62 miles in Columbus, Texas today. Lots of hills the first 40 miles so really glad I took the 10 speed although my buddy had no problem speeding right up them with his Mercian.

A beautiful mid-70s spring day in southern Texas!
