Bridgestone MB-0 (zip)

I've got a Bridgestone MB-zip

Was my first real racing MTB, bought so many years ago.... anyway. I have always wonderd if there is a market for these things. Reason I ask its that I am contemplating turing it into another commuter, but that would involved removal and replacement of original parts.

It is total stock right now (leather saddle, pedals, everything the way it rolled off the showroom floor) the only thing I did was cut down the handlebars.

If there is a market could someone point em in the right direction, otherwise it'll be my newest proj.

thanks!

Me too. I loved the Bridgestone MTBs. I got to ride my friend's MB-1 once. I found one of the best things about that bike was the fork. What an absolutely gorgeous fork and it handled just as well as it looked. If it were me, I'd retain it in original condition. It's a piece of rolling history that could probably still kick many of today's modern bikes in a XC race. And yes there are plenty of loyal Bridgestone devotees out there.

I also vote for keeping it original. There's a following out there for Grant Peterson's work, and you may regret it in a few years if you change it.

I'm not certain this link will work:

https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

But it shows a recently completed 1991 MB-0 sale on Ebay where the bike went for $1,125 (!).

Who says those Bridgestones weren't a good long term investment...

Yikes! well thats my bike for sure except a few detials like my asddle is tan leather not grey, and my "comp" tag in the front does not have the flags next to it. Also I think my tires are smaller.

I will post a pic as soon as I snap one. Think it will stay original and stock. thanks guys!
