Paramount Specs?

I've got an 87 paramount and I am trying to find the geometery on the frame and a few other specs. Do you guys have a resource for this info. More importantly I am looking for a new front derailure, I assume its a 28.6mm.

Here is a place to start:

Pretty much the specs were the same on all the Waterford built Paramounts. There are oversized tubing ones and the ones made in Asia which are different. It helps to post the serial number. It gives some general information about the frame and fork. Most likely the FD clamp is 28.6 mm.

Best of luck.

Intresting,
Mine is not an OS model, atleast the stickers do not state that it is. This is the one I purchased: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=300277604269

570CWB87112, I think the the seatpost is a 28.6. Maybe I should just go home and measure it

I also believe the first Paramount OS came out in '89.

Go to the Waterford web site and they will tell you first hand everything you want to know about the bike. They built it after all. Roger
