You better believe they go faster (at least in our minds) and can go neck and neck with those chrome beauties! Best of luck on your build.

I've had this on up to ~56mph. It's the 10 speed Campy that does it . I recommend you build yours up with a modern drivetrain, and never look back:

Red bikes go fastewr, but you have to watch out for the cops because they will pull you over faster for speeding. Oh wait a minute is that on bikes or in cars, sometimes I get so confused.

Two C&V's coming soon, no fixies or modern drivetrain on these, but they are Italian.

Pics shortly.

I think red bikes do in fact go faster. As proof, I offer that all of my bikes are not-red, and they all go slow.

funny you should mention red bikes today. I'm not sure this one is fast yet, but maybe when it gets some wheels.

It only went that fast because you were carrying 8 gallons of extra water mass in those huge bottles!

Since Sporty and I have only hit 48 mph, I'm feeling a little envious. I guess I need to find a longer steeper hill!

If red bikes go faster, gr23932's shed must be moving at a pretty fast clip:

If you look me up when you get out here, I'll show you all the long and steep hills you'll ever need. 'Course, ya gotta climb 'em, first.
