New decals for old bike?

I have an old Fuji in great condition and the original paint. Recently, I even got some tires to match the originals. The only thing that keeping this bike from looking mint is the lack of badging. It has some markings like Valite on the forks and information on the seat tube. What I'm missing is the Fuji markings. I'm the second owner of the bike and I think the former owner took such great care in buffing the bike, he might have buffed off that information. Are there decals, available? Or is this a hopeless cause?

Do you know what model it is? If so, someone on the forum might have one and be willing to photograph the decals for you, myself included. Then you can get some reproductions made. If you don't know the model post some photos and we can all have fun trying guess what it is. Or go here for starters:

Yes, it's a 1984 Fuji Espree. I saw the original in a biking catalog on the classic Fuji site. The bike still has the important information on the stem that allowed me to match up the frame and components with the right bike.

I don't have an Espree, used to, just got rid of it. Maybe someone will chime in that owns one. Maybe a repost or edit that has Fuji Espree in the title might catch someone's eye? Here' the master of decals:

wandson1@msn.com

He's done some excellent Fuji decals for me in the past. Drop him a line, perhaps he has some in his files.

Good luck,

Scott

I have an Espree mixte. I imagine the decals will be about the same. I can supply pictres if Jrrestore needs them.

Thanks for the good information. I see a good photo of it on Classic Fuji but I can't seem to right click to get the photo. I'll definitely email your friend.

Here's the link though: https://www.classicfuji.com/1984_15_E...Mixte_Page.htm

Thanks. I'm new to the restoring thread. Who is Jrrestore?

Scottryder gave you his email address above. He's a pro decal maker. JRrestore is his member name here. I've forgotten his real name. He made some decals for me that I'm very happy with and it cost me way less than I expected.
