I like taking the odd photo of my bikes but I don't have any group shots of my Aussie bikes. It's really great to see them all at once.

Man, thats quite an impressive collection. I have only two road bikes that are of the caliber of your's compared to your vast collection. It would take a full time job just to keep track of, and maintain what you have. Still, thats pretty damn cool. Which ones are your favorites??

That old celeste Bianchi is my favorite, stunning. I also figured out where all the frame pumps ended up.

What is the small gray cylinder clamped behind the older Bianchi's seat tube? Patch kit? Also what's up with the burnout bars on the track bike in the rear of the first picture?

Gratulation! All the bikes are looking like race bikes...no spacer towers, no stems looking to the sky, no handlebars over the top of the saddle, no mountain bike pedals, no saddles with 5 pound gel.

The grey cylinder is a tyre inflator. The Italian Campionissimo, Fausto Coppi, had one on his Bianchi when he won the world championship at Lugano in 1953. As my Bianchi is of a similar vintage, I decided to set it up as a bit of a tribute to Fausto. The number is the same and the tyre inflator is in a similar position (but I have a frame pump as a back-up). Fausto's was a red cylinder but i've only seen one in real life - and I wasn't able to buy it.

Wonderful bikes. I love the style. Are they originals, though, or have you built the frames yourself? I wonder because the term "boardtrack motorcycle inspired bikes suggests you built them.

That's neat, for some reason I always assumed those things made their appearance in the 80s, what's old is new again. I like the scale model as well!
That Beretto is slicker than snot on a glass doorknob, I definitely have a pursuit bike fetish. However, it's not the bike I was asking about. Perhaps "burnout bar" is too much of a colloquialism to make it to your hemisphere. I was asking about the bike in front of the Beretto, the one that has its drops flipped upside down.
