Tweeked fork????

Is this a tweeked fork or just an off center wheel that just needs the skewers centered?

Thanks
Mutt

Odd. That front wheel looks dished.

Mutt,

Take the front wheel out and flip it around. If it sits in the same place the wheel is properly dished which, unfortunately, means the fork is tweaked.

If the wheel sits in a different position when flipped it'll need to be properly dished to fully ascertain if the fork is tweaked.

Well my problem is this is a craigslist bike that is a long way from me and would be an all day trip to see in person. Any suggestions.

I guess I had better pass. It seems like 2 chances out of three it is a tweaked fork. Dang it all. It was an a sweet Univega Specialissima in awesome shape. Oh well I guess the quest continues.

ah, beautiful and rare Grand Compe centerpulls. Does look like stem shifters, but might be bar ends...

Looks like a lick to the front end. The forks appear bent rearward and top tube is down in front.

I had that little warning bell going off in my head but wanted to run it by the experts first. Sometimes I wonder if it's the camera angle or bent parts. Thanks for the help.

I think I see the top tube damage, the fork looks like it may just be turned a bit to the right though, Optical confusion? I think you are right about the frame though, does the down tube look weird or is it just the shift cable that makes it look that way?
