New to me celeste Bianchi...

Hey,

I picked this up a few weeks ago and am just getting around to posting it now. I just thought I'd show it off a little. I haven't had a chance to clean it up yet, but I will get some better photos when it's all clean and polished.

It's got columbus TSX tubing, full Shimano 600, internal routed cables. It's quite an eye pleaser. It's only been on my rollers, as I'm in Ottawa and I don't imagine the snow's going away anytime soon.

It's a tad too small for me and I may end up selling it, but I'll wait until spring before I make a descision.

I'm assuming the model is a Reparto Corse, but if anyone has any knowledge / info on this bike, I'd love to here from you.

Here's a few pics for you to enjoy...

I have the same one---paid $750 for the frame and fork in 1998. Still rides great.

Do you have any idea what year the bike might be? I'm trying to get as much info as I can about my bike in case I decide to sell it.

What do you think you could get for yours if you sold it today? (assuming it's in similar shape as mine)

I believe mine's a 1997 model---and in 98 they made their last lugged steel frame. (Regarding your 2nd question, I'm not sure how much someone would pay for it)

Oh man would I love to have that bike. My Bianchi is a 50/51cm frame and is too small for me. That looks like a 54 or 56. Perfect.
As for price, a 93 Virata just sold for $255 on the bay. It had Shimano 105, 8 speed brifters. I could not make out the frame decal. I was going to go after it, but some local dudes were in a bidding war and already didn't have to pay shipping. Looking at the final price, I think I was incorrect.
