Stan,
that makes 3 Jan de Reus that I know of here in the states. Mine, the one CV-6 had and your goodwill
near miss.

My regret (yes, you all know it) Chris Meerman's blue Zieleman that I could have bought for
$250, by the time I figure out how to get the money to buy it Chris had passed away, the bike was
gone. I still keep an eye out for it, I'd buy that one in a heartbeat.

Marty,
I recall your posts regarding your De Reus when I went home to research the bike. I was still quite young in my C&V addiction and didn't know any better to just grab the bike when I saw it. In any case, someone here on the Monterey peninsula is riding it and I still take a long look when ever I see someone riding an orange bike with skinny wheels.

Just had to pass on a beautiful Ron Cooper frame due to financial reasons.
