Bigwoo,

Notice the forged Huret dropouts on the green SS frame. This one is basically the same as the Sports Tourer except it has the over sized BB shell for the Astubula crank, which we all know, can be easily modified.

Great catch PB! I didn't notice it..... I thought that since he has such an eye for the fine details, Kurt may want that little bit of chrome on the front fork

Don't worry, I've got my eye out for Sports Tourers locally (there was a yellow fixer-upper in For Trade recently, didn't seem as if it would take that much to acquire it either), but I am not entirely keen on the idea. I'm not sure whether they'll ride to my taste - mind you, I'm quite fickle about it. Not even the '70 Paramount rides quite the same as the '61, and I have a feeling the Titan bar/stem has something to do with it. Regardless, that's why I seek them out - the ride quality and that unbelievably stiff 531 English-bend fork - granted, though, this eBay disaster has an incorrect fork on it with an Italian bend. Chancy, but worth the risk, IMO.

That said, I am also passing on every Super Sport I see. I will not have another Ashtabula BB - even if converted - in the fleet. I dislike them with a passion.
