I use bullhorns with cyclocross levers on the flat part, and bar-end shifters in the...well...ends of the bars. I find it a really comfortable way to commute.

I need to repair my bike. It is the same bike as mentioned earlier. It needs new wheels, cables, brakes and deraileurs. I thought about converting to a single speed. Is it worth it? (Non single speed repairs would cost around $150.)
