26 years of grime

like some of you may have gathered from my previous posts, i am rebuilding my girlfriend 1982 peugeot

i tought it ahd steel wheels, turned out there was so much crap on the wheels that they looked like steel but they are belgian weinman aluminium rims.

took me 5 hours to polish the front wheel only to bring it to a as new look!
grime was so incrusted on the aluminium that i had to use aluminium & metal de-etcher prep (aeronautical product) to have a workable ground fo the steel wool before the polishing steps!

ill take pictures tomorow of the rear and the front for comparison

and my hands are sore lol
