This will be cool...

One of the local newspapers is doing their annual fashion issue and is using our bicycle co-op as their shooting location... they wanted some really old bikes and it looks like my girls, and the old boy, are going to be models.

The old boy... Neville

The girls...

cool but please tell me you will remove the baskets from the peugeot. I used several of my bikes in a fashion type photo shoot, it was great fun and I felt proud of my children.

I put the baskets on because I had to haul a blender and a few small things... they would come off for photos.

Shocked that the editors, or the stylist for that matter, are erudite enough to choose those true vintage bikes. Typically they'ld get some drewed 70's Free Spirit and present it as 'highly sought after' example of the vintage market.

Speaking of true vintage bikes... I got an e-mail from Momentum and might get featured in the fall as they want to do an article on people who still ride really old bikes (pre 1950's) as every day transportation.

If that happens it will have to be the Rudge as I ride the old boy more than I do any of the other seniors save for the path racer.
