Wacky Centurion REBORN!!!

Feast your eyes on this tasty centurion! Tange tubing . . . Shimano 600 . . . DURA ACE!!! Ah, but don't look too close or ye might not like what you see!

Okay, so I rebuilt the centurion that I posted about in this thread:
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ight=centurion

I was able to remove the nail polish with a light paint stripper, but it left exposed metal (from previous scrapes, not the paint stripper). Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it for paying a total of $80 (that's including the original price of bike), mostly on new bar tape, a chain and some fenders. What do you think, was it worth it or should I have left well enough alone?

Oh, I like it very much:

You don't mind, do you?
Funny how the paint on mine's coming off in the same places. They didn't waste much money on that stuff, did they?

Nice Mans man! I don't suppose you happen to live in Oregon do you? I noticed your location says "cascadia" and I haven't heard anyone use that term outside of Oregon, but I don't spend much time elsewhere, so what do I know.

Just north of there-Washington state, south Puget Sound. Home of the Fishtale Brewery.

definatly worth the investment. Some how I've never seen a pair of bar end shifters before (in real life), they look neat.
