I have to agree with a previous poster about the fork. I bet that bike had a small front wheel originally.
But if you want a more upright position I would look for a cheap 1" thread carbon road fork that will at least have tight clearences and match the shape of the bike better. You can always paint it to match. A fork like that should be pretty easy to find as they are pretty much obsolete these days.

I have to agree with a previous poster about the fork. I bet that bike had a small front wheel originally.

Looks cool nevertheless. Wish I had some parts to donate. I see you already have a matching cow bell.
That thing is crying out for some world champ stripes or something. Wait a sec...I do have some new Campy decals. PM me if you want them. Looking foward to the final build.
