I got a bike today called a CCM Carrera. I found out a little about CCM but does anybody know about this particular model? Was it made after they were taken over by another company?

CCM declared bankruptcy in January 1983. The Carerra was produced prior to that, in 1981 & 1982. In 1981 it was 2nd from the top of the line, an indication of far CCM had sunk. In 1982 it was top of the line. As far as I can tell, both years were identical. Knowing the serial number may allow us to pinpoint the year.

Where would I find the serial number?
