Sun AT18 650A/S-6 Rims??

I picked up an old set of Sun AT18 rims out of the back of the storage area of an LBS today. They had no idea what they were, and I was hoping that they may be 650B's. But they are measuring about 592 +/- at the bottom of bead (between 650A/26x1 3/8 and S-6). They are 36 hole, single wall silver alloy no eyelets, chrader valve. I can find no information that Sun would ever bother to make an odd-rim like this. Any ideas what they are?? I don't figure pictures will help, but I can take some.

650A is 590mm rims or what would be on a Raleigh Sports. Sun still makes the CR-18 in that size.

Yep. A 650B rim is 584mm. The actual size difference with a 650A rim is 6" mm! Effective brake reach between the two sizes is 3" mm!

not to be too big a vulture, but I've been looking to hotrod an old three speed. If you feel stuck with 650As, PM with what you paid, and maybe I can take them off your hands.
