3 speed Sebring info needed

Hello,

Please see the pics of my latest project. It's a 3-speed sebring made in Taiwan. I can't find any information about this bike anywhere on the web. Could anyone help me date this bike and could anyone shed any light on the sebring make?

Thanks

I suspect it is a department or hradware store brand. Sometimes, serial numbers are easily decyphered, as to year. Are there any Shimano, SunTur, SR, Sugino or Dia-Compe branded components on the bicycle? If so, they will have a date code that can be decyphered using the information of the component dates page of the Vintage-Trek website.

Hello T-Mar,

The only date marking is on the 3-speed shifter and it is stamped AF. The hub is a 333 shimano hub.

Thanks

Ian.

That should make it a 1976 or 1977 model.
