Help with identifying a Colnago

Hey,

I just picked this frame up the other day and I need help identifying it. It was turned into a fixed speed at some point but besides some chipped paint the frame is in really good condition. I'm trying to figure out what model it is and what year(s) it was produced. I'm thinking I'm gonna make restoring it my next project and need help with the original specs and hoped someone here could help me out.

Bikes: Mostly English - predominantly Raleighs

It looks like my cousin's - that was stolen in '96.

I can tell it was purchased in Greensboro, NC, and that it's red. Can't tell much more than that on the model or year or anything.

ok - that crankset is 99.9% likely not original.

Cycles de Oro is still around - the owner, Dale Brown, is the owner and custodian of the Classic Rendezvous vintage bike site and list. I'll bet if you contacted him he could help you out:

The "Celo" on the crown makes me think it was brought in by Maurice Calbourn at Celo Europa, one of the bid Colnago importers/distributers. I'm betting it's mid-80's somewhere - '84-85, give or take.
