Hello from a Barracuda fan
Hey all,
I've posted in the Introductions forum, but wanted to say hello in the Classic & Vintage one also. I'm a retro mtb guy, especially interested in the 1990 through 1998 period. I'm also a big fan of Barracuda, with several of their bikes in my stable.
I even run a website devoted to the original 92-95 bikes produced out of Durango, CO.
Best,
Mark

Welcome to C&V! I'm a retro MTB guy too, although this evening I'm trying to get my new tubeless setup going on my new mountain bike...
<guilty grin...>
I didn't know much about Barracuda before I perused your website, and it is an excellent resource. Thanks for your effort; I'll keep my eyes peeled for a Barracuda now!

Barracudas were close to the top of my want list when I was 13-15 and reading mountain bike magazine, I threw most of them away years ago but I had almost every issue 1993-1995. I always loved the look of baracudas totally bad *****. I remember in one issue there was a piece about how Anthony of the red hot chilli peppers was given one. I was jealous. In those years I rode a cheep McKinley MTB from the sporting good store (it have a Chromo fork! ohhh ahhh! and shimano 200GS parts)... I almost got a GT pantera as my next bike but then ended up with a Rocky Mountain Hammer (much better).. and which I still had it.. think it was a '95.

Welcome to C&V Mark!
I checked your website and will return to read it in detail. Although the link seem to have disappeared.
I was given a 1998 Barracuda A2BS, or more specifically, what was left of one, by a nice fellow cleaning out his basement. I think it was his first MTB. It's missing its fork and most of the STX components, but the frame is intact. Kinda cool with its triangular cross section down tube. I also wasn't aware of the significance of the brand until I visited your site. Thanks for sharing!

Welcome Mark,
It appears the link has been removed by a Mod. I have an A2Z in tange 3, with a tree amiegos logo that I realy enjoy. I will have to try to find your web site. If I was googling it what are few key words that would get me there?
