Marinoni for only $10,000 Canadian or (today's rate) 8008 US

https://www.kijiji.ca/v-road-bike/ha...ationFlag=true

Please note: No description of this bike in the advertisement. Looks like a new frame with some really old rough 105 components.

Marinoni Road Bicycle
Montreal, Quebec bicycle manufacturer since 1974
Giuseppi Marinoni is legendary in the Canadian bicycle world, known for the fine steel frames from his shop in Montreal that have borne his name over the past four decades. More recently, he made the news for setting a new hour record for his age group (75-plus), in the Fall of 2012. However, very few of us have actually had a chance to know the man himself. This has now been rectified with the recent release of the documentary Marinoni: The Fire in the Frame, at the HotDocs Festival in Toronto.

Check out this LINK to learn more about Marinoni & his legendary Bicycles..Hope you enjoy

In defense of the $1500 ask, that bike looks very original and super clean. Steep pricing? Sure. But I don't know if it's truly wacky. But the $2500 guy? Yeah, he's more than qualified.

That $1500 bike does look mighty clean, but the headset looks pretty bad. So I have to wonder if it is one of those bikes that is clean on the outside, but for functionality, it is nowhere near being ready to ride.

Pretty wall hanger though.

So propping an ailing bike against one's garbage cans is an advertising faux pas?

The misuse of "break" for "brake" is so common that it will likely become the accepted norm. Just another sign of the decline of civilization.

The faux pas is not listing the size when there's a tape measure on the seat!
