Love the banana seat. Didn't know that was an option on the Mixte.

Hate to admit it, but I think it looks kinda cool. Not $150.00 cool, maybe $75.00 at the most.

AMF Nimble 3 speed womans bicycle - $1 (Springfield MO)

Date: 2010-03-02, 5:34PM CST
Reply to: sale-jaxeb-1625619879@craigslist.org

An awesome womens rebuilt three speed bicycle. Would serve for a great commuter bike or means of transportation when your just a lil to faded to drive home from the bar. There is some rust, not much, and a couple places where the paint has chipped, but all those minor defects just make it look even cooler and possibly ride better. It shifts great but, the tires are pretty worn, for an extra 20 bucks ill slap some new ones on the ole gal for ya. It has some beach cruiser style handle bars on it. Preferably email me and make me an offer
4 1 7 316 1 518 is the number, ask for leroy then ask leroy for CyberKeef then ask Keef for Colton, or ask for Colton.

Thanks.

Bikes: a heavy old steel Frankenbike Gitane, a cruiser (not something I'd buy for myself, but it was a gift, what can you do?), a Greg Lemond, a Specialized Stumpjumper(old, steel, fully rigid), and a Specialized Safire

This one makes me a little sad, because it looks like it's my size, it's one of my favorite colors, and it would be a nice upgrade from my current old road bike. Part of me wants to go check it out... but this doesn't sound like someone who's too willing to bargain. I might pay $200 if it didn't need as much work as it looks like it will.

Well, there's the obvious: A more upright position in traffic actually makes more sense than riding the drops. I had a Bridgestone 400 that I only used for commuting that I ran with a wide mountain riser bar. It make it very easy to move the bike around quicky (bobbin' and weavin' in traffic, hoppin' curbs, wrestling the cargo trailer around, etc..) while still having a very fast bike underneath you. I never did long rides on the bike so there was no use for drops or other hand positions. Most of these fixies are used in a similar fashion - short trips around town that you want to make fun by having a fast bike.

You know, like a hybrid. But way faster, depending on the setup. And cooler looking.

And they need em for the super-lame tricks they do for "fixed-gear freestyle". But I'm not even going near that topic. And the auper narrow ones make very very little sense at all - you're not cutting it that close to the cars!

Pretty bike, but $600. Seriously?

And wait. PX-10 with coaster brake? Again: seriously?

I see it still has the tubular tire strap under the seat!

1969 Peugeot PX-10 Single Speed - $600 (South Robertson)

This is a highly collectible Peugeot PX-10 from 1969 converted into a classy single speed with a coaster brake. Frame and fork are made of Reynolds 531 tubing and joined with Nervex lugs. Original paint and decals from over 40 years ago. Campagnolo seatpost, Cinelli Unicanitor saddle, Campagnolo headset, bar and stem are French but I'm not sure what model (don't worry, it's not the Ava bar and stem which are infamous for breaking), Bluemels Club Special fenders, Shimano front hub laced to Rigida rim, Sachs Komet Super coaster brake rear hub laced to Rigida rim, Campagnolo crankset, Lyotard 36R pedals, bell not included. Size is 58cm, great fit for someone 5'10" or taller. This is a beautiful bike built with really nice vintage parts. Sad to let her go but I have to make room in my apartment. Asking $600 OBO. All offers considered.

You guys, this one has the original factory next to the crank. That's so special, right?
I like his rationale that "I want $200...because I think it should be a collector's piece."

Sorry - no, and no.

ROAD BIKE SCHWINN WORLD - $200 (tempe az asu campus )

I have a beautiful Schwinn world edition road bike, white and red combo,10 speed, its a 58cm frame, still has original factory next to the crank, YES ITS FOR SOMEONE at least 5 11 or 6 ft, im 5 10 and it works for me, everything is original on the bike seat, pedals, rims and paint, tires were replaced in November as well as the tubes, will include set of led bell lights for night riding(paid 30) and a Master U-lock(paid 45) bucks) they are already installed, bike is clean and i bet ill be hard to find one like mine in such condition these days and the price is a steal, i want 200 bucks cash considering that its a really good bike and i think it should be a collectors item, i know it will sell fast, and if you think 200 bucks is 2 much then you should go to a bike shop LOL, if you are interested text me at 623 337 1241, I'm only interested in cash,or will trade for an iphone or new Ipod touch and thats it but cash is king.

it kind of looks like a '91ish Univega Alpina Uno LX featuring Mountain LX (top of the line below Deore/ this group became Deore something the next year) it was a nice lavender color with a splatter paint I would love a nice one of these in 19 or 20"

BTW I have a theroy why CL bike pics are from the wrong side. if you are selling a car you take pics from the drivers or left side right? .... maybe I can get a big goverment grant to test this theroy
