Hosteler ID
I would like to know if anyone could give me some information on this bicycle. I havn't been able to come up with much at all about Hosteler.
Here are some specs:
Wheels: Samir Saminox 27 x 1 1/4 with Normandy high-flange hubs
Derailer: Huret Allvit
Breaks: Weinmann750 / Vainqueur 999
Crank: Aduprat Universel
The frame just says Hosteler, Made in France, and it also displays the olympic rings.
Thanks for any info!

I've seen a few of these. In fact, there are two Hostelers in my neighborhood. I flipped one a few years ago. Yousr appears to be about a Peugeot U08 level with slightly more durable components. And yours seems to be in spectacular shape! Very nice paint!

It's been 7 months since the last post here. Does anyone know anymore about these Hostelers? I picked up a mixte this summer. Cool looking bike, but no info to be found.
It is not the Gitane Hosteller, (two "L's"). Spelled with one "L". I'll try to get some pictures up also. Mine got similar components to the OP's, cottered cranks, etc. But is a cool green color, similar decals.
Anyone got any more info on these things? They "seem" like a well built French bike...
