Interesting dealer decal.

I was cleaning and going over a 1970 Raleigh Twenty I bought 5 or more years ago. In the process I noticed this dealer sticker. It would probably be more correct on a Paramount. I assume that Wastyn like anyone else was selling anything they could in those days. Click on it to enlarge. Roger

Please explain further. Why would it be more correct on a Paramount? What is Wastyn? What was the situation back then such that they'd be selling whatever they could?

They're still selling today. Schwinn and Raleigh, among others. A nice little piece of cycling history right here in Chicago.

I picked up a brand new Wastyn's decal 3 years ago for my Frejus, bought there new in '66.
It looks now like it did then.
Wastyn's made the early Paramounts for Schwinn. Someone else will have more info.
