151 bcd chainrings?

I'm looking for a 44 to 48 tooth 151 bcd x 3/32" chainring for a project. I've had the pista crankset since new in 1973 and would like to use it. The original ring was for a 5-speed and is a 53T and pretty worn. Thanks!

They turn up on ebay regularly; Campagnolo, sometimes Sugino. The Campagnolo road in 44 is most desirable: I have a 52 and a 53 I don't need if one will work.

The Sugino tracks are on ebay quite a bit. The 151 held on longer in track cicles...

Thanks dbakl. I'm hoping to find a smaller one for a cruze-around-the-neighborhood 5-speed that I'm in the planning stages for. I did a google search and found a few possible sources, but attempts to obtain one have so far been fruitless. I came across a site that says they'll make one but look at the price - https://highpath.net/cycles/eggs/01.html

try the seller Zairebunia on EBAY, he has had them in the past in his store. He is in Europe and is very reputable, I have bought many items from him, not cheap tho. His store is Wondecycles I think.

Mike Kone sells repo 44T's. You'll never find an original for anywhere near that price.

Thanks Otis. Not cheap but not unreasonable. I need to check if it's 3/32" for a road setup.

It's 44 teeth - I can't imagine it's not 3/32. What track rider would be using a 44?

I think I have a 44t, 151bcd, 1/8"(?) chainwheel that came on a '73 paramount track. Can't remember the make right now. A few of the teeth were gacked from hitting something I guess, so I replaced it w/ a 50t. Here are some pics:

No, the chainwheel damage didn't happen when I set it down.
No, I don't have the frame anymore.
No, I didn't allow it to rust like that.
Anymore?

Mike's is clearly intended as an inner chainring for a 151 bcd double. I guarantee it's 3/32.

Edit: To say that a 44-tooth 1/8 chainring is apparently a plausible item, based on norskagent's pic and a little digging. Just not something Mike would choose to repro.

Highpath Engineering in the U.K. also does custom chainrings.

My post was intended as a data point / informational. I got my replacement 151 ring by lurking on the CR list, and found a seller. Sometimes Serotta forums can provide vintage stuff also. Just some other options to consider, but you have to be lucky.
Edit: the old ring I have may be a 46t (sugino?). If someone is really interested I will check tonight

THE ANSWER IS:

Hi Ed,

Indeed it is. The ring is very impressively made - perfect if you are actually using a 151 old Campy crank on the road.

Hello are these older Campi? Nouvo/Super Record? I have a 48T and 50T. I don't think they were ever on a bike. will they work for you?

There are two issues:
1) The bcd (bolt circle diameter). This was 151mm on the original Campagnolo crankset from 1958 into the 1960's. This is what the original poster (OP) needs in:
2) 3/32 thickness (i.e. for road use). Track versions of the 151 bcd cranks and chainrings persisted into the 1970's, but these are 1/8 thickness, so they don't work with road ("strada") cranks.
The 144 bcd Campagnolo cranks were introduced in the early-mid-60's.
Technically, the cranks are "Record" (i.e. not designated "Nuovo" or "Super"), though there are "Super Record" (as opposed to "Record") chainrings.
