Bikes: I currently own a Giant Brass 1 dirt jumping bike. I love it. I bought it December 1st, 2008.

Double BMX!

Yesterday, my neighbor saw me riding my new Le Mans, and then wanted to show me all his bikes (he is old, about 75). He showed me some not so impressive bikes, but I guess he saved the best for last. The last bike he showed me was a white Schwinn 2-person BMX bike. He said it needed to be restored, but he didn't really need to tell me, because it is quite obvious. He said he might give it to me, so I would like to know if it would be worth restoring. If the parts are chrome, I could probably use the wood bleaching method to rid the bars and other parts of their rust.

He told me he bought it brand new like that. He said he payed $600 for it. He actually owned a lot of those bike rental places on the coast of Huntington Beach, so he had/has a ton of bikes.

Hard to tell for sure, but it does appear to be the genuine article.

I know it is genuine. It is a Schwinn, but I don't know what model it is...does somebody here know?

It's probably worth restoring if only for the novelty and fun value of such an oddball ride.
