Bikes: 1962 Rudge Sports, 1971 Raleigh Super Course, 1971 Raleigh Pro Track, 1974 Raleigh International, 1975 Viscount Fixie, 1982 McLean, 1996 Lemond (Ti), 2002 Burley Zydeco tandem

I regret I sold my 1975 Raleigh Gran Sport in 1979. It hadn't yet occurred to me that I could own more than one bike. On the other hand, maybe I didn't have enough cash to own two, but maybe I could have made it work. I bought myself a brand new PX10, and I only owned it for two or three months before it got stolen. I used it as my commuting bike which was unwise. Then I saw the wisdom of having a beater bike and from then on, I had two bikes, a nice one and a beater.

Bikes: Trek 400 Elance, Losa Winner, 1994 Schwinn Paramount, Specialized Tarmac Pro, Miele SLX, Ibis Ripley, Colnago Oval CX, 84 Masi GC, 1986 Schwinn Voyageur, 1988 Schwinn Tempo, 1998 Schwinn Peloton, 1991 Paramount Ser3

A Bianchi TSX Ultralight. Ovalized tubes, pearlized paint, beautiful lugs with panto like engraving, ENGLISH THREADS!, chrome stays.... Celeste Flite titanium, yellow Michelins. I had a Time fork painted silver to replace the harsh chrome columbus fork. Ultegra 9 speed. Raced it, rode in on group rides all week. Never game me a bit of backtalk. Sold it to justify buying an aluminum Pinarello when everyone wanted aluminum. Derp!
