It's the actual Eddy Merckx Factory. I took that picture when I went there not that long ago. Man I wish I was still in Belgium.

Sorry to speak for you. That was one of the coolest photo tours I have seen on bike forums.

Here's a pic by Lamplight that I really liked. The bike is nice, but I really like the pic!

Hey all, I haven't been on here much due to my pre-deployment training. Saw this thread and had to post something though. I've taken a lot of shots of old classics, but something about this pic of an old workhorse that gets ridden by a guy who commutes every day, rain or shine came out pleasing (to me anyway):

I've posted this before, but I still like the picture. The bike (an old JC Higgins ColorFlow) is in retirement on my cousin's farm in Oklahoma. I've fantasized about restoring it or making it into a rat rod, but methinks my skills aren't up to the task. (Edit: Though I have used this as a desktop [I am of the Macintosh persuasion-no wallpapers here] it doesn't look like this pic is sized to fit the criteria. Don't know if I can find the original or not-its somewhere on a CD in my files)

just a few of my brava. i rides alongside carbon, brifters, and even 11 speed systems on the weekly group rides and a few times during the week.. when its ideal weather!
since i got her earlier this year, and thanks to much help from u guys on advice, I've clocked 600kms.
this was after a bit of cleaning and a lot of polishing. The whole bike looks like NOS, right down to the original spec handle bar tape!!
It rides just as good as it looks.

thanks scott, yeah the fuji has been my city training beater.. deep rims and carbon front wheel = never need to true these rims!
yeah my bike looks NOS from about 3 feet away or greater... C&V guys redefine NOS. The rear cluster looked really good after i cleaned it down, teeth were clean and sharp, that was about 200kms ago!

yeah. And I found out today it's pretty flexy. If I stand up in the saddle the tire rubs the fender. Suppose I need to do something about that.
