Help to identify this Brooks saddle.

I have a Brooks saddle that has had me perplexed as to which model and even year this may be.

Any help and insight will be appreciated.

The all photos are here - https://s333.photobucket.com/albums/m...view=slideshow

Thanks

a "swallow-ised" Pro - with the side panels cut away and riveted together underneath to add strength - neat!

Would the Pro have a stamp on the sides identifying it as a Professional?

The Swallow was was my first guess, yet it seam to be shorter than the Swallow models I compared it with, yet the fold under was similar.

I should have included the measurements - length 270 mm, width 160 mm.

I also suspected it was a cut version of another model, yet the leather dye is consistent and equally aged by my eying it.

The Copper rivets, chrome rails, and no leather die stamp on the sides has left me bewildered.

Also, the leather is a good 5 mm (3/8") thick, and is very firm.

Thank you for your views, much appreciated, Swallow was the model I was comparing to as well. I was curious if another model was available some time ago.

PS; The nose piece that is exposed, is COPPER making me wonder if it is exposed on purpose, the rails are chrome, and the rear plate is marked "MADE IN ENGLAND".

If it had been cut, they did and exceptional job, as the sides are identical, no cut marks left behind.

Its a cut Pro and they cut off the part that said it was a Pro. I have cut a couple of Brooks and it isn't hard to do a good job. Roger

I now noticed the absence of the bag loops on this saddle, the same as the Pro models. Duh, should have caught that earlier.

Thanks for the feedback and my reaction when first saw this was similar to -

I like the copper rivets, and the lack of the skirt. Plus the leather is much more sturdier than my B17 and B17 Imperials. May just install on my 73 Super Sport to check out the ride, and should make a great saddle for a mid 80s vintage Schwinn High Sierra or like model that I am presently keeping eye out for to add to my stable.
