Is it pronounced MY-EL-EE?

I always called it ME-LEE, like the old printing presses.

I used to have a Moto Guzzi Miele GT and always said Mee-Lay. Knowing what I know about Italian it looks like it should be Mee-El-Lay.

That's how I pronounce it, although the only exposure I've had to Italian is from classic foreign films

I thought it was German name because there is a German appliance manufacturer named Miele. The name of that company is pronounced me-luh.

Anyway, it turns out Miele bikes are made in Quebec. Here's the website.

+1 on the definition. I dont know how to type letters with accents above them so I write it out as 'Mee-yail-ay'

My old Italian buddy pronounces it "Mee-el-eh"
But he is from northern Italy and their may be other ways of saying it.
